Ms. Rachel Brutus 

  

Founder and Artistic Director Rachel Brutus established Travel Dance Inc. in 2008 in Miami, Florida. Her goal was to provide quality dance instruction to youth in the community teaching  technique, discipline, self-confidence and performance skills.   

 

Rachel Brutus began dancing in 1998 at the age of 12 at Westview Middle School where she began training in Ballet, Modern, African and Jazz technique. She trained for 2 years and in 1999, began training at the the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center for two years and  sporadically for the next 3 years. In 2001, Rachel joined Divas Arts Dance Company. In 2006 Rachel began her minor degree in dance at Florida International University. 

 

In 2006, Rachel taught dance at Natural Bridge Elementary for a year and was transferred to Oak Grove Elememntary where she taught until 2009. Rachel inspired and motivated youth through the arts.

 

In 2009, Rachel started Travel Dance Inc. has been providing dance technique to youth and adults in the community.
